Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Burma, Singapore and Australia

Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Burma, Singapore and Australia

Who would have imagined after eight years of travel I could arrange an informative piece of text for viewers around the world. It's been a huge eventful time with huge amounts of travel, work and play to come close to becoming a writer on the internet. The past eight years have been congested with loss of camera equipment a downward spiral to Internet marketing and several websites designed and taken down through a huge misunderstanding on how difficult working abroad and the internet can be.

My writing begins in a huge factory in the centre of England otherwise known as the West Midlands where a job had tied me down for over eight years. Each and every day my dream of becoming something different exploded within my thoughts. Each day I would turn to another employee and threaten to leave for pastures green. One day I organised my journey and described to the manager how I felt the need to travel and see other countries. I resigned from my job with a slight clause that if I wanted to return after five weeks of travel I could continue employment with the company commonly known as Eaton.

At that particular time I was in relationship of almost four years, a relationship that in the minds of friends and family would never cease. With travel on my mind and know compromise with my girlfriend on coming with me I decided this was the time to leave for an overseas adventure. I had saved the money to purchase flight tickets, secure accommodation and complete vaccinations. I had no other plan than going to Thailand at that time with the travel books I had ordered on the internet and a planned vacation in Asia for at least three months. The vacation lasted almost eighteen months and saw me complete travel through Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Burma, Singapore and Australia.

My enthusiasm and will to remain overseas for as long as possible became possible when meeting with seven Manchester friends I met in a bar on Kousan Road otherwise known as Gulliver’s. This short evening of fun eventually saw us partying it up for almost five weeks around Thailand's beautiful islands. It was the most amazing five weeks of my life with every single day been another adventure. The same friends convinced me to further my travels into Australia. My visa was processed from the Australian embassy in Bangkok which allowed me one year and permission to work.

After completing almost twelve months in Australia it was time to return to Asia. I had all my tax returned from employment in Australia and booked a flight to Singapore, through Malaysia by train and back into Thailand.
